from album After the Curtain (out of print)

All He's Really Losing

Trail of golden sunlight, rivers in the sand
Gentle breezes blowing sunset up the strand
He hears the ocean whisper something in a sigh
And listening through a memory he softly starts to cry

Running hand in hand with her along the beach
Laughing chasing dreams that stay just out of reach
It's oh so hard to reason remembering that way
He's trying to forget her but his heart is in the way

He sees moonlight on the ocean
Starlight in her eyes
His own are closed for now
He cannot see the lie
The tropic sun can fool you
When you drink her wine
But all he's really losing is his mind
